Dr. Fatih Mehmet Gul is the Chief Executive Officer of Fakeeh University Hospital in Dubai, UAE.
With a track record of successful delivery of largescale projects, he is responsible for leading one of the largest private hospitals in the emirate. He spearheaded the development of Fakeeh University Hospital in 2017, implementing market strategies to deliver on the hospital’s mission to provide medical excellence and champion outstanding research within the UAE.
A graduate of the prestigious Harvard Business School and Cornell University in the US, he is a seasoned physician by training. During his vast career spanning over two decades, he has gained international experience through various assignments across Europe, Middle East and North Africa, making him well-versed in both, regional and western cultures. He has combined his long-standing knowledge of the regional healthcare landscape, with his distinct leadership skills and clinical background to bring to life, multiple projects across health systems, hospitals, academic medical centers, and medical groups.
Dr. Gul is seen as a trusted adviser across the healthcare sector. His core competencies span the development of largescale projects, occupational health, clinical operation development, medical recruitment, international medical services like medical tourism, assistance, evacuation, repatriation, and remote medical services.
Prior to his role with Fakeeh Care - the Saudi healthcare provider group responsible for bringing Fakeeh University Hospital to Dubai Silicon Oasis - he was the Founder and Managing Partner of DRFEMAG Healthcare and Consultancy in Turkey.
Dr. Gul is passionate about corporate social responsibility and healthcare sustainability. He is the Founder and Executive Director of CSR Middle East, a non-profit platform that promotes CSR in the region to help companies achieve profitability, sustainable growth and human progress by placing it at the centre of business practices.
