Micromobility, which involves light weighted means of transportation such as electric scooters and bike for short trips mostly in urban areas, is growing internationally and making its way into Middle Eastern cities. One of the reasons for their sudden success is that they have solved the long-standing problem of the last mile and exploited a neglected gap in the market.

City dwellers and visitors struggle with first/last mile transportation, congestion and cost. It's also inefficient for a large, gas-guzzling vehicle to carry one person for a short distance. Many micromobility players are venturing into the Middle East and partnering with local companies to bring innovation and develop the right products and services for the region

This program will bring together stakeholders across the value chain in the region to discuss ongoing and upcoming projects and initiatives by governments, local authorities, private and public organizations to introduce micromobility services
